Another recall may be underway for another El Paso representative, this one against Mayor Joe Wardy.

Community activist Jaime Perez says he's pushing for the changes in this administration because they are not doing right by the city.

Perez says he'll get started on the petition next week in which he needs 10-thousand signatures of registered voters gathered within a 2 month period.

Mayor Wardy says this effort isn't for the better of the city but a personal vendetta, "You know that I don't even know how to comment on something like that, it's really out of the mainstream you know you have people that are on the political subculture that feel that they have to make these efforts."

Jaime Perez says this isn't personal,"I disagree with them on everything, I mean it's not just a few things, Wardy defeated the taxes for the elderly and now has passed a bond issue under false pretenses he is done any number of things."

On Wednesday afternoon, a legislative review will take place to look over the recall petition against Escobar, in which 518 registered voters signed.
