EL PASO, Texas —

A suspected thief got caught stealing a second time around in northeast El Paso.

An El Paso man was charged twice with burglary of a vehicle on Sunday.

Witnesses told police they saw Oliver Lakeen Macias, 20, removing items from a Honda Civic.

When police arrived, they learned that Macias had broken into a Ford Mustang and stolen items from it before his second alleged robbery, police said.

He was arrested and booked into the El Paso County Jail. Macias, according to police, had an outstanding probation violation warrant.
