El Paso Health Officials Uninformed Of Juarez Swine Cases

Related

Thursday KFOX asked the El Paso Department of Health spokeswoman for new information about the 10 suspected cases of H1N1 in Juarez.

Despite El Paso’s close proximity, KFOX reporters were told that the department didn't know the status of the cases or whom to contact about it.

The spokeswoman later referred reporters to Mexico's Secretary of Health's Web Site, which updates only the country's statistics, and some states' statistics, but not the statistics of the state of Chihuahua or cities.

Earlier in the week, the spokeswoman did confirm the initial four suspected cases.
