El Paso Fire crews on scene of East El Paso apartment fire
EL PASO, Texas -
Around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, El Paso Fire crews responded to an apartment fire in East El Paso at Edgemere Street? and Lee Trevino Drive.
KFOX 14's Veronica Macias reported that the fire was at the Trevino Place Apartments.
El Paso Fire Department spokesman George De La Torre told KFOX-14 News the fire was on the second floor and there was heavy smoke and flames.
El Paso Fire's Twitter account said 13 units were on the scene and about 35 firefighters were working to put the flames out.
As of 7:00 p.m., no injuries were reported.
