EL PASO, Texas —
The city of El Paso has come forward with a strong bid to keep the Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.-Andy Lee fight in El Paso - most probably in Cohen Stadium.
There are, however, some sticking points in the proposed deal and city officials will hold a conference call with Bob Arum and officials from Top Rank, the boxing promotion company, this afternoon in hopes working out the final details.
