Driver takes off after crashing into ditch

EL PASO, Texas —
According to police, the driver in a one-car accident took off, leaving a passenger behind.
The driver of a Mustang missed a turn and drove right into a ditch, police said.
The accident happened around 1:30 a.m., Thursday, on Gateway west, near the Americas ramp.
Police said the passenger was taken to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
