Dozens Of Customers Without Electricity Saturday

EL PASO, Texas —

Dispatchers and El Paso Electric officials confirmed to KFOX-14 that there was a power outage on Pyrite Drive in west El Paso at around 8:45 a.m. Saturday.

Dispatchers said a truck hit a pole, causing the power lines to come down.

El Paso Electric officials said about 50 customers called to report an outage near the area behind Sam's Club.

El Paso Electric servicemen were at the scene and continue to assess the damage. No injuries were reported.
