Dona Ana County Responds About Dead Animal

EL PASO, Texas —

Dona Ana County responded after the report of an illegally dumped animal left to decay behind a family's home.

The family said they county didn't help them remove the animal because they didn't have the proper equipment.

The county told KFOX today, that is true depending on the type of animal. The family reported they thought it was a large horse and they county said they were under the assumption it was a small horse, and if that were the case the county said the livestock inspector would have had to take care of the problem.
