Dona Ana County man accused of sexual child abuse

MESILLA PARK, N.M. —

A man who resides in Dona Ana County faces a sexual penetration of a minor charge, said authorities.

The alleged victim who is under the age of 13, told her father that her mother's boyfriend sexually assaulted her in October.

The boyfriend, Anthony Lynn Black of the 5900 block of Mariachi Place in Mesilla Park, was accused of criminal sexual penetration of minor in the first degree, said Dona Ana County Sheriff's officials.

The alleged incident happened on Oct. 5 in Dona Ana County. The father of the victim found out about the alleged sexual assault when his daughter was visiting him in Alamogordo.

He then reported it to the Alamogordo Department of Public Safety. DPS conducted interviews and turned over information to Dona Ana County investigators, said authorities.

According to authorities this case will be presented to a grand jury. That date hasn't been disclosed.
