LAS CRUCES, N.M. —

KFOX 14 is the only crew on the scene of a man being flown via helicopter to a local hospital after being maybe being hit with a pipe.

LCPD told KFOX 14's Exclusive Las Cruces Bureau that the battery happened on Monte Vista.

An ambulance brought the victim to Gardner and Eastpark where a helicopter airlifted him.

Witnesses told KFOX 14's Samantha Manning that the victim was bloody when he was transported into the helicopter.

An LCPD spokesperson told KFOX 14 Sunday evening the victim was showing a house to put it up for sale when he was attacked and possibly robbed.

It's not clear if the man was attacked by someone he was showing the house.

His condition is unknown.
