Deploying Soldier Involved In Rollover Crash

EL PASO, Texas —

A soldier and his family rolled their SUV on the way to the airport where he was about to be deployed.

The accident happened just after 5 a.m. on southbound US- 54.

The soldier's wife was driving when she said a coyote ran across the road. She swerved to avoid the animal, rolling the Mitsubishi Outlander into a ravine.

They had to use the light of their cellphones to flag down drivers passing by to get thesoldier to the airport.

No one was injured.
