EL PASO, Texas —
El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a deadly crash near the Clint exit of Interstate 10. Parts of the roadway were closed off to drivers as investigators looked for evidence and crews waited for the medical examiner to arrive.
EPSCO Spokeswoman Christina Acosta told KFOX14 a man, in his 50s, was walking across the roadway in heavy traffic and was struck.
The man’s name has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
The crash happened between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Friday night.
Special Traffic investigators were on the scene. No word on any charges the driver may face.
