Crime Of The Week: Stolen Credit Cards

EL PASO, Texas —

Officers are on the lookout for whoever is responsible for breaking into a car and stealing credit cards in west El Paso. It makes this week’s Crime Of The Week.

Investigators said on Tuesday, Sept. 7, officers someone broke into a 2010 Ford Fusion that was parked at 125 Paragon Lane.

It happened around 4:40 p.m.

Among items taken, was a wallet with three credit cards that were used the next day at five businesses across central El Paso, police said.

Officers were able to obtain surveillance photos of the people using the credit cards, however they are unsure if the people are the same ones who broke into the car.

There are two people shown in the photos. One is an Hispanic woman in her early to mid-20s, with long straight brown hair, wearing a brown or gray short-sleeve blouse with a scooped neck and a white purse on her shoulder.

The other suspect is a Hispanic man, in his early to mid-20s, with close-cropped hair, wearing a white T-shirt and a black baseball cap that appears to have a Chicago White Sox logo on the front.
