El Paso County Sheriff's Office

CANUTILLO, Texas —

The person or people responsible for vandalizing 12 vehicles are sought by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.

Over the weekend, deputies said the windows of four vehicles in Westway and three vehicles in Canutillo were damaged, possibly with a BB gun, Friday.

The vehicle that is believed to have been used in the spree is described as a green older model Chevrolet truck with a brown stripe and a broken right passenger window, and was last seen driving into New Mexico on Friday.

Deputies said they believe the vandalism is connected with a similar spree that took place on Saturday, when five more vehicles were damaged in the same area.

Anyone with information on who may have been involved in the vandalism spree is asked to call El Paso County Sheriff's Office at 915-546-2280.
