Jeremiah LaFuente, 23, is charged with three counts of bringing contraband into a place of confinement, and three counts of conspiracy to bring contraband into a place of confinement.
Investigators said he was to receive $400 for providing the contraband to the prosoner.
LaFuente has been a guard for five months.
