An El Paso man was arrested for cocaine possession following a traffic stop in El Paso's Lower Valley.

Ribel Gallegos, 26, was pulled over in the 700 block of Zaragosa Monday night after deputies said he was driving erratically.  Strike team deputies pulled Gallegos over on North Loop.  Deputies said Gallegos was noticeably nervous during the roadside interview.

Deputies obtained a verbal consent to search Gallegos' pick-up truck.  Deputies found a black colored cologne box labeled, “Gucci Guilty."   The box was located within the bed of the pick-up truck and contained four small bundles of a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine, each packaged in a clear plastic bag.

Deputies performed a field test of the powdery substance which tested positive for the properties of cocaine. The total weight was 32 grams.

Gallegos was charged with possession, his bond was set at $30,000.
