Children Find Reptile

EL PASO, Texas —

A call about an alligator on the loose sent animal control in a frenzy.

Instead officers responding found it was just a 3.5-foot-long iguana.

Animal control officers said two kids playing along a ditch near University and Union reported the reptile.

The iguana has been taken in by the Humane Society.
