EL PASO, Texas —
The child had walked over to the deep end of the pool at the El Paso Country Club and then fell in , paramedics said.
Paramedics said there were many people at the pool.
A lifeguard at the pool saw the child and jumped in after him.
The child was taken to Providence Hospital with non- life-threatening injuries.
