Car Collides With Border Patrol Agent On Bike

El Paso police told KFOX emergency crews were dispatched to S. Mesa Street and E. Eight Ave. shortly after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday to the call of a pedestrian accident.

Dispatchers initallly said a vehicle hit a Border Patrol agent who was riding his bike at the time.

According to emergency crews, he was taken to Thomason Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators were also called out to diagram the scene.

Officers on the scene told KFOX the agent on the bicycle and a Mercedes collided and the Mercedes' driver was not cited on the scene.
