EL PASO, Texas —

A man accused of shooting and wounding a 4-year-old girl and a man at a Deming Wal-Mart accepts a plea agreement.

Vincent Cantone, 26, pleaded guilty to abandonment or abuse of a child, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, transportation or possession of a firearm by a felon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The state district judge still has to decide whether to accept the plea.
