21-year old Jonathan Ruiz was arrested early Monday morning and was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $1,000,000 bond.
He is charged with the capital murder of Gary Del Palacio.
"Based on our preliminary investigation, robbery is the motive," said El Paso County Sheriff's Spokesman Rick Glancey.
