Bomb Threat Called Into Wal-Mart; 3 Arrested On Other Charges

By Renee Narvaiz

EL PASO, Texas —

A bomb threat leads to the arrest of three men, according to El Paso police.

The call came in overnight Saturday at the Wal-Mart near Zaragoza and Montwood.

According to police, when they pulled up to the store three men were inside a car next to a pay phone.

Officers asked the men if they knew who had just used the phone, officers were hoping to find who made the bomb threat.

Police said one of the men told them Juan Millan, who was in the car, used the phone.

When officers approached Millan about the call, the three men took off in the car, but they eventually pulled over.

While talking to the men, officers found Millan was in possession of cocaine and was attempting to hide a baggie of it. Officers arrested Juan Millan on drug charges.

Officers learned another man in the car Erick Millan had five outstanding traffic warrants and the third man Jose Tinoco had seven outstanding traffic warrants.

Police are still trying to find out why Juan made the bomb threat.
