United Blood Services is desperately asking you to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Louisiana has six offices where they can draw blood, but with the threat of Katrina they may fall short.
David Veloz, United Blood Services, says "This underscores the importance of always having an adequate blood supply for our community, but also to have extra blood in case somebody calls with a need."
