Avoid Waiting In Bridge Lines

The Easter holiday is a little more than a week away, and that means many people will be crossing over to Juarez, making the already busy ports of entry more congested.

That's why the U.S. Customs and Border Protection offered some suggestions on how to make the holiday less stressful.

CBP officials said planning ahead is always the best way to navigate the bridges.

"I want to make sure that people understand that this is the busiest time of the year and that it's important that you declare everything you're bringing across and that you do have options as far as when you cross. We are open 24 hours a day," said Port Director David Longoria.

CBP officials said the amount of time spent in bridge lines is ultimately up to motorists.
