Autopsy Conducted In Death Of 2-Month-Old

DONA ANA CO., N.M. —

An autopsy conducted Monday morning reveals no signs of abuse in the death of 2-month-old girl from Dona Ana County.

The infant stopped breathing Sunday morning while sleeping in the arms of her mother.

Investigators said Fabiola Manzaneras of San Pablo took her unresponsive child to the hospital.

Child protective services has begun an investigation into the family's living conditions after deputies learned Manzanera and all of her five children were sleeping in the same bed.

The home had no running water and only a portable electric heater to keep warm.
