If you've received a ticket from a sheriff's deputy, constable or state trooper and it's turned into a warrant, you can have the failure-to-appear fine dismissed.
In order for that to happen, you have to pay the ticket by this Friday.
Even if you pay your fine, since the ticket was not paid by this past Friday, your name will still appear in the El Paso Times and El Diario.
