El Paso, TEXAS —

El Paso police said one man was stabbed several times in his chest and another man was cut on his arm after a fight broke out early Saturday morning in Central El Paso.

A police spokesman said when officers arrived at a home at 3729 Chester Ave. shortly after 2:00 a.m., they found Jorge Camacho, 30, lying on a bed as several people applied first aid. He had several stab wounds to his chest.

Witnesses said Camacho and the suspect had to be separated after a fight at a party.

Officers on the scene said after an initial fight between Camacho and the suspect, Ronnie Watkins, 21, escorted the suspect from the home, and later realized he had been cut on the bicep by the suspect. Watkins said he did not want to press charges, according to police.

So far, no arrests have been made.
