2 men arrested in connection to car robberies at strip club

An arrest was made Wednesday in connection to a string of robberies at an east El Paso gentleman's club.

El Paso County Sheriff's deputies were patrolling the Dreams Cabaret parking lot at 13299 Gateway West when they spotted 18-year-old Javier Torres-Ayala and 22-year-old Benjamin Santana suspiciously walking around.

Deputies said both men were checking several car door handles to check if they were unlocked.

Torres-Ayala and Santana were placed under arrest and charged with burglary of vehicle after deputies said they went inside an unlocked vehicle and removed items from inside.
