The Wards' last opening was Eloise, a cafe that serves up craft coffee drinks, beer, wine and food. This week they bring a similar concept to downtown El Paso.

Hello Day Cafe, is connected to Tricky Falls and Bowie Feathers. According to the cafe's publicist, it's the final phase happening at the old Alhambra Theater that Ward purchased.

"We are committed to providing consistent, good food in an easy, relaxed environment," said Ward, partner in Hello Day Cafe.

The cafe, also owned by Ward's wife Katherine and its chefs, Hector Saenz and Jose Cazares, will offer up a casual dining atmosphere.

Chicken and waffle sandwich, classic fish and chips, garbanzo sloppy Joes, grilled eggplant sandwich and their already famous Pub Burger will be on its menu. Eloise's locally-roasted house coffee will also be served at Hello Day Cafe.

Saenz and Cazares, also musicians, approached the Wards about the Hello Day Cafe concept, said publicist Marina Monsisvais.

The cafe offers lunch, delivery and late night food.

• Monday -Tuesday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Wednesday - Friday 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. *later if need be
• Saturday - Sunday 11 a.m. to 3 a.m.

Hello Day Cafe will serve its customers during any shows at Tricky Falls as well.

"There are certain places I love to play on tour because I know there's going to be good food, and I'm happy to know that soon enough we'll be one of those memorable stops for bands that play at Tricky Falls," said Jim Ward.
