EL PASO, Texas - The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is helping people visiting their family members or friends at the El Paso County Jail Annex stay cool.

Sheriff Wiles became concerned about the public waiting in line in extreme heat. Therefore, a portable 40-foot shade tent, donated by the U. S. Army, has been erected in front of the Jail Annex. This will help people stay cool while waiting in line for the upcoming weekend visitations.

Visitation hours for odd pods are from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for even pods Saturday and Sunday.

For information on visitation please visit www.epcso.org and click on the Detention Bureau tab or call 915-856-4802 or 915-546-2212.
