SUMMARY:  Present the news on the internet following the format and instructions of the KFOX News Director and Executive Producer of KFOXTV.com.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Produce and post daily news material from KFOX news reports.
• Digitize video from news reports, feeds from reporters in the field and feeds from content partners.
• Write and edit text taken from scripts and wires.
• Create slideshows from stills captured from video feeds.
• Coordinate User Generated Content on KFOXTV.com
• Must be available to work nights.

SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Must be familiar with basic HTML coding and use of a publishing system.

Must have working knowledge of Photoshop and the use of video editing software.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be thoroughly professional in all aspects of journalism. Must be well read on current affairs and have a wide-range working knowledge and understanding of general interest subjects, current events and people in the news.
