US citizens stuck in Juarez around the PRONAF area (hotel district) can get to the bridge going west via Paseo Triunfo de la Republica/ 16 de septiembre ave., which crosses Juarez ave. (road to the PDN bridge. My wife the works in Juarez was able to come over about 8 pm. Please get this out on the news so that El Pasoans stuck in Juarez can be notified. -Jose

there is no way of getting through to south of mesquite, NM. Those travelling south from Las Cruces, DONT. You are being re-routed in Mesquite back to Las Cruces.

i almost had water come into our front door. luckily i managed to sweep it out. but it was an all morning effort. it is not really raining out here anymore but we are still on alert. earlier we did not have running water. i have no idea if it was a line break or what. i found out by you all that vinton evacuate but i heard westway was starting to evacuate as well. i dont know how true that is. as far as at my home (in westway near deanna davenport elem), we have not yet been told to do so. for now we are safe. thx for the coverage

I live in the Canutillo Heights Estates. With access being limited to Doniphan and desert South from Vinton we are virtually isolated. Doniphan is closed and Desert South is closed. Anyone living in this area can not return home or leave.

My uncle's a ditch rider and informed us that the levy at Ascarate broke and they cannot contain the water. He said the water is rushing out. -Melissa

hi this is frank bermudez i am a lifeguard at the leo cancellare memorial pool(westside pool off of mesa hills). i was one of the guys that helped save the people from there cars/trucks including the girl in the red truck off of mesa hills(which i attached pics and a video from the scene) and i wanted to say thanks for the many people that are being such great civilians in helping people out of there cars. i wanted to say that you guys are doing a great job on informing people about areas hit the most.

At least 6 border patrol vechicles rushed down mccombs past sun valley. i went to the store where the clerk mentioned that there were kids seen in the ditch playing and that border was over there, possibly trying to get the kids out.

i live in vinton and it is starting to rain again. There is a lot of thunder and some lightening.

I live on Laramie Ridge Lane, and even though we live on higher ground, our entire backyard is under water with the pool flooded, at least 2 inches. The arroyo behind us is starting to build up, with the flood drain filled to the brim. -Jeremiah

Hi my name is Sarah Mitchell and i wanted to know if you could thank someone on the air for me. This young man rescued me and my baby from my car on Doniphan street earlier today. Our just gave out and water began to come in to our car and he came to our aide with no regards of his own life and left just as fast as he came without letting us thank him. with all the chaos we didn't even catch his name but one gentleman did catch his name. His name is Victor Armendariz. If it wasn't for him I don't know what would have happened to me and my baby. Please thank him for me- grateful parent and citizen- Sarah

What information to you have regarding evacuating animals from the flooded areas. Most dogs in Vinton and Chaparral are chained and in extreme danger. - Marilie

If anyone is coming from Helen of Troy to Lonas del Sol subdiviison, its best to go around to Resler through Nardo Goodman where Kholberg Elem is. Its safer. I just got in from there and the water is at least 2 ft deep running down Helen od Troy like a river. Marissa

Please advise that many suv's and large trucks are being very inconsiderate and driving through water holes at normal speed and splashing other smaller cars and trucks causing accidents. I saw a black ford dully truck splash a small neon and cause to crash into the curb. If you can ask these larger trucks to please considerate and aknowlege that they can cause major accidents with there driving. -Victor

I live on top of the hill on Resler between Enid and Alto Rey. From last night at 5pm till 11 am we recieved 5 inches of rain as can be seen by the pictures. At 11 am I emptied the rain gague and now the time is 12:25 and we have recieved an additional inch. - Ben

My wife was at an inservice at Franklin HS this morning. We live in NE and she was able to get back home by using Resler to Transmountain, and then down Transmountain to the I-10 and then to Anthony Gap and over. This seems to be the only relief valve available right now from the west side to ne. Regards - gerard
