Spanish Pop Group Sparks Chaos In El Paso

Four people were hurt Thursday evening at the Wal-Mart near Yarbrough.

The incident occurred as thousands of fans showed up to get autographs from members of the pop group R.B.D., which was scheduled to perform Thursday night.

During the autograph session, the crowd got out of control, and thousands of people at the Wal-Mart were evacuated.

Fans who were waiting for hours outside the Wal-Mart said the group just left, leaving thousands of them empty-handed.

Walmart was cited for failing to maintain fire department access and fire lanes and impeding the response for emergency vehicles.

Police also responded to the Camino Real where the group is staying because about 100 people showed up there hoping for autographs.
