Las Cruces Mail Delays

Hundreds of people trust the post office to carry their valuable letters and bills each day, but many locals say a lot of their mail isn't delivered on time.

Some residents say they've resorted to paying their bills online, or finding alternative ways for their mail.

"We do it either online or make other arrangements-- just something because we can't count on the mail getting there on time," said Las Cruces resident Christy Cole.

But other residents say they have no complaints with the local post office.

Postal officials also say they have not noticed a problem with their mail delivery, they encourage residents who are receiving their mail later than usual, to bring that piece of mail to the post office to help determine the problem.
