EL PASO -- Our familiar West Texas Area Code, 915 is about to become more exclusive to the El Paso area. That's because the Texas Public Utility Commission is introducing two new area codes to our region.

915 will remain El Paso's area code but just east of El Paso County, in Van Horn, phones will have a new area code, 432, which will also apply to Odessa Midland, Alpine, Big Spring, and the area around those communities.

A third area code, 325, has been assigned to Abilene, San Angelo, Brady and their surrounding area. Before, this entire region was served by our area code, 915. The change took affect today.
