Northeast El Paso Shooting Under Investigation

EL PASO, Texas -- El Paso police are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital early Saturday morning.The shooting occurred just after 2:30 a.m. on the 9700 block of Trident Place.Officers from the Northeast Regional Command Center said, police were dispatched in reference to a fight when the victim was shot.Police said the man was taken to William Beaumont Army Medical Center with a non-life-threatening gun shot wound.Police said no arrests have been made and the Crimes Against Persons Unit is currently investigating.
