Westside Family Escapes Arson Fire

EL PASO, Texas -- A fire on the 300 block of Thunderbird Drive Thursday morning has been ruled arson.

When crews arrived on scene just before 11:30 a.m. they found heavy smoke coming from the garage.

Four people were inside the home at the time and were able to escape safely.

The fire caused more than $5,000 in damage.
