EL PASO, Texas -- An El Paso Federal Jury Wednesday convicted two men with ties to Mexico's Sinaloa Drug Cartel.Jurors found 40-year-old Fernando Ontiveros-Arambula and 19-year-old Manuel Chavez-Betancourt guilty of conspiracy to distribute more than 100 tons of marijuana.They also found Arambula guilty of two other charges.Both men face up to life in prison. Their sentencing is scheduled for June.A witnesses testified that Arambula is a high-ranking lieutenant in the Sinaloa cartel which is fighting the Juarez cartel for control of this drug trafficking region.
