EL PASO, Texas -- Customs and Border Protection officials arrested a man who they said was trying to bring in nearly 25 pounds of cocaine into the U.S.The bust was made at the Bridge of the Americas after a drug-sniffing dog alerted officials to a bundle hidden in the center counsel, officials said.That’s when officials said the driver, 31-year-old Jose Maria Gomez De La Fuente of Juarez, Mexico, of the car tried running away.He was caught and arrested. Officers said they found a total of 12 bundles of cocaine hidden in the car.
