4-Day Work Week For El Paso City Employees

EL PASO, Texas -- Many city of El Paso employees can look forward to a permanent four-day work week.City Council on Tuesday approved the 4 day work schedule for the period between May 1 and Sept. 30.City Manager Joyce Wilson said 2009’s three-month pilot program saved about $160,000 and this expanded five-month version should save the city up to $225,000 a year.
