Update: Alleged Drug Deal Ends In 1 Arrested, 2 Hospitalized

Early Monday morning three individuals were involved in a stabbing on the 2600 block of Nations Avenue.

Around 2 a.m. in Central El Paso victims Jessica Urias, 24, and Olivia Chavez, 44, went over to Jesus Flores, 41, apartment complex to allegedly purchase cocaine.

According to the El Paso Police Department, Flores attacked Urias with a knife. Mean while, Chavez went to see what was going on between the two but was also attacked by Chavez with the same knife.

Both victims managed to escape the scene and with minor injuries. Urias suffered a cut to her nose while Chavez sustained cuts to both her forehead and the back of her head.

The two were transported to area hospitals.

While in custody Flores was found to have Marijuana on his possession, said police.

The 41-year-old is being charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces, and resisting arrest. His bond is set at $102,000 and is being held at the El Paso County Detention Facility.
