Reward Offered For Info In Christmas Hit-And-Run

EL PASO, Texas -- A $1,000 reward for information in a deadly hit and run accident is being offered.

Dona Ana County Sheriff's deputies responded to the intersection of McCombs and Luna streets in Chaparral, N.M., on Dec. 25, 2009.

Abdel Rivera-Torres, 36, was struck by a vehicle. The driver then left the scene.

Authorities believe the vehicle was a mid-90s model "S" series Saturn, possibly either a metallic teal or bluish-green color.

Anyone with information is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 575-526-8000.
