EL PASO COUNTY, Texas -- El Paso County sheriffs arrested a man they said is responsible for a rash of burglaries in the Clint and San Elizario areas; but undercover deputies are still on the case and they may be making more arrests."I'm thinking it's people that have been watching us because they knew they were not home, so they knew what time to go in," said Perla Vasquez from Clint.Vasquez said two of her neighbor's homes were burglarized a few months ago. After following several leads, the Sheriff's Strike Team identified Alejandro Gandara, 32, as a person of interest. He was found at a home in Horizon City late Friday night with several stolen items in his possession, said deputies. He was charged with three counts of burglary of habitation. Gandara remains at the El Paso County Detention facility under a $15,000 Bond. Several more cases may be cleared due to this arrest.More arrests are forthcoming.
