ANTHONY, Texas -- Albuquerque police arrested woman who was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service for failing to report to a halfway house.Veronica Magallanes Lopez, 31, was taken into custody Tuesday morning.Magallanes was sentenced to a halfway house after being charged with importing a quantity of marijuana.Law enforcement is still searching for a prisoner who escaped from the La Tuna federal prison in Anthony, Texas, Sunday.Alfredo Lopez, 30, is described as 5 feet 11 inches and 198 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.Anthony Texas police said they had been notified of the escapee and are stepping up patrols throughout the town.If you have any information on the whereabouts of Lopez call U.S. Marshals Service at 915-534-6779.
