LORDSBURG, N.M. -- Over 600 pounds of marijuana were seized in Lordsburg on Tuesday, officials said.U.S. Border Patrol agents in Lordsburg said they spotted footprints that started at the U.S./Mexico border near Cotton City heading north.Agents said they found two men who were carrying backpacks that contained 270 pounds of marijuana.Agents said they again found drug smugglers allegedly carrying marijuana in the New Mexico desert.An estimated street value of $529,600 worth of marijuana was seized Tuesday.
