Man Arrested At Club 101 With 42 Ecstasy Pills, Police Say

El Paso police said they have arrested a man for having 42 Ecstasy pills, as he tried to enter Club 101 in East El Paso.

Officers said 20-year-old Abraham Reyes of the 200 block of Cherry street was charged with possession of a controlled substance MDMA Ecstasy pills.

Staff at Club 101 called police Friday night to help detain Reyes. Investigators said Reyes was trying to enter the club when staff members questioned him about weapons or drugs. Reyes ran from the staff in the parking lot of the club and club workers saw him trying to throw away a baggie that contained 42 Ecstasy pills, according to investigators.

Reyes was booked into the El Paso County Jail on a bond of $16,000.
