An August shooting that critically injured a Fort Bliss Soldier takes a new turn.

The El Paso district attorney's office said a grand jury indicted Fort Bliss Soldier, Pvt. Antonio Saunders, 23, on two counts of attempted murder.

Saunders is accused of shooting and critically injuring another Fort Bliss Soldier, Frank Calderon, 22, and firing at, but not hitting, another soldier, following a fight outside a bar at Mesa Avenue and Baltimore Drive in the Cincinnati Entertainment District.
