Bird Crashes Through Plane's Windshield

A bird struck a small plane starting its descent in Show Low, Ariz.

The small cargo plane was at about 11,000 feet when a large bird came through its windshield Wednesday morning.

The pilot suffered some minor lacerations on his face and a bruise on his shoulder.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating this incident, which happened two days after a Delta passenger jet struck a flock of birds.
