NMSU Presidential Finalist Tours Campus

As the search continues for a new president at New Mexico State University, another finalist for the position was introduced to the media Wednesday.

Barbara Couture toured the NMSU campus and was able to speak with students, facility and staff during her trip.

Couture is currently the chancellor of the University Of Nebraska-Lincoln, and said commitment to the university makes her a great candidate. "I think what I would find is an asset that I bring to this university is a great commitment to diversity, a great commitment to student access, and a great commitment to the land grant mission of the institution," said Couture.

Stay with KFOX as we continue to cover the final three candidates as they visit NMSU in the coming weeks.
