El Paso County Sheriff's Clerk Arrested

A clerk with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office is in police custody.

El Paso Police arrested David Hererra, 25, Friday night for prostitution, possession of marijuana and for traffic tickets.

Police tell us, Herrera offered an undercover officer a sexual act for a price.

Sheriff's officials said an internal investigation has been opened against Hererra, the outcome of the investigation could lead to disciplinary action and possible termination.

Hererra has been placed on administrative leave, without pay.
